The Movie Companion is a personal movie rating website that provides editorial movie ratings and allows registered users to submit their own ratings and request ratings for movies. The Service uses movie data from The Movie Database (TMDB) API.

Our Content

The Movie Companion ratings, commentary, design, and other original content belong to us. Movie data, images, and related information are provided by TMDB and remain their property.

The Service uses third-party services including:

• TMDB API: Movie data is provided by The Movie Database. Their terms of service apply to that data.
• Supabase: Database and authentication services.
• Vercel: Hosting and analytics services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be available at all times
• The Service will be error-free or secure
• Any information provided will be accurate or complete

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Movie Companion and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
